On behalf of the children, staff and governors I am delighted to welcome you to Southdown Primary School’s website.

Southdown is a large primary school, currently 403 pupils from ages 3-11. We are situated in the town of Buckley which has a thriving and growing community. We work closely with all the schools in the Buckley, Mynydd Isa area.

At Southdown we strive to provide an all round education, to set good foundations for future development and to help children to realise that learning is fun and lifelong. We have high expectations for our pupils in their work and behaviour, supported by a dedicated team of staff who work extremely hard to ensure that all our children reach their full potential.

On this website we aim to provide you with useful and up to date information so viewing our site on a regular basis will allow you to keep in touch with everyday life at our busy school.
