Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. Whether you are already a Southdown parent or someone who is thinking of joining us in the future, welcome from the Foundation Phase team.
We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Southdown. We hope that their time with us is a happy one. Our first priority is to make all children feel happy and secure in school so that they can become successful learners. We ensure each child is greeted as they come into school each morning. Every child is an individual and they will each be given opportunities and support to develop their skills and interests at their own stage. We work hard to foster curiosity, determination and a love of learning which will provide a firm foundation for their future education.
Parents are very welcome in our school. We value the skills and knowledge that you have and like to use these to enhance the children’s learning. So, if you have a skill that you think you may be able to share or have time that you can spare, please speak to us. Extra pairs of hands are always welcome!
