Hello and welcome to Year 2.
We aim to use the website to keep you informed of our exciting activities throughout the year.
We will be adding exciting information about topics and upcoming events and also photographs of the lovely things the children have been doing!

Our PE slot is a Monday afternoon.
SNACK
We are able to provide healthy snack for children every morning break. The cost of this is £1 per week. It is really helpful if you are able to pay termly/half termly. We continue to provide milk for the children every morning.
READING
Reading folders are sent home each day with your child, and should come back to school every day too, to help your child get into a good routine. It is so important that children get the chance to read and share their books with you at home so please try to do this in short bursts whenever possible.
Also can you check your child's folder as we usually put any letters that need to go home inside.

We follow the children's interests where we can, as a result our topics can change. Here are some of the lovely things we have done over the years.
We have been reading different Welsh texts with our Reading Buddies in Year 4!
A busy day at the office! We have been using Hwb on the Chromebooks to present Bar Charts!
PC Jones paid us a visit in the Autumn term, he told us how important it is to follow rules and that they are there to keep us safe!
We had a visit from SHELL who brought their big truck and showed us the importance of road safety!!
