We have achieved the National Quality Award for being a Healthy school!

Some of our outstanding work this year includes:

 

  • We are the Lead school for Flintshire with Online Safety.  We are currently in the process of completing the 360 Degree Safe Cymru assessment via HWB!

 

  • We lead the DCF Consortium of schools and have been involved in a Consortium E Safety project, which involved E Cadets from all the primaries and two secondary schools coming together at Southdown to discuss their likes and dislikes about Internet and Social Media.

Growth Mindset has been at the heart of our practice this year!

 

Children are encouraged to persevere and are rewarded via our Class Dojos for using their Growth Mindset to help them overcome challenges!
